What's the difference between a PROBE BAR vs. a PLUNGER BAR vs. a Pogo Bar?
It's simple.
A PROBE BAR is an instrument used to make a hole (into the ground) by manually pushing it into the soil or surface. (As a test instrument, a PROBE is used to touch an object and receive some type of electronic reading). We sell lots of PROBE BARS.
A PLUNGER BAR is a heavy duty rod with a sliding weight used to hammer the probe into a surface. These instruments are also called "impaction tools", or POGO's. We also sell lots of PLUNGER BARS.
On LocateUnderground, we have both instruments in both categories - Just to help out with the confusion.
You're welcome.
